Mega Mac (25/7b) - Nowra

Mega Mac is one of many classic 25's located in Nowra on Australia's south-east coast. First climbed by Klaus Klein in 1994, the route is a 15m over-hanging classic and a must do for climbers of the grade. As borders began to close around the globe early 2020, Christian Gray was given weeks to tick his project before he'd be booted back to Canada. Belay: Steve Willson Footage & Edit: Tim Winter...

This was lovely.
Gosh what a sick film, literally such a dream of mine to try and make friends like this and experience this!
Jesus, you didn't even learn how to spell Yosemite.
Epic trip, thanks for sharing, so entertaining
Didn't even go to the top

Awesome! Gullich would be proud.
you look like Saxon with black hair!!!!.....
Possibly the best footage of climbing Punks ever recorded 👌🤙
Sick video dude!!
Очень круто, с удовольствием посмотрел. Спасибо.
Great video! That rock looks incredible! It would be really cool to include a short interview with the climber in the next videos to learn a bit more about the routes and the area :D
That appraoch beta is key.
Great to see Tom crushing the Nowra classics. Amazing
Great looking climbing and very good camera work. Captured the experience really well.
Looks awesome!
awesome clip Tim! I really liked the side shot to show the incline to appreciate the route further!
What a route! well done
excelente
So good
Real. A plause to your technic and precision! good job mate
This video is nearly as good as the one of Ben Cossy sending Groove Train.
“Yeah mate” classic! Jeans and shirtless, that’s how we send in Straya! Typical 80s bolting with every bolt having to be extended with 2 foot runners. No wonder it’s never been onsighted!
The only problem is he makes it look too easy. Great competence from great confidence.
Epic. Scene setting and the calm build through the beginning sections 🤌 And then the rising raw/emotional/visceral support from the ground crew through the crux sections. To finally the calm again, with sounds of nature dominating. …topped off with that roar (you could FEEL the emotional investment that went into that climb). Masterful soundtrack accompaniment as well. One of the best send videos I’ve seen.
When your belayer is as motivated for you to send than you are ! So sick
Let’s gooooooo 💪🏽
I don`t understand why they only rebolted half of this fantastic masterpiece !!!! the old ones look horrible
Beard looks good Mark
Stunning piece of rock and great climbing! The supporting team was a wee bit too loud at one point but, eh, what are friends for? Congratulations on the send and on the video. Thanks for sharing!
Unreal! Made it look easy mate. Congratulations on the send
3:01 that must be scary
Nice Tim good to see you getting after it 🤟
Thanks Andy Pollitt!
Epic!
Wow! Very smooth. And if I had someone spurring me on like that I'd gain an instant 2 grades!
Amazing video, that's some good grabbing!
